We collect information related to your orders
If you order one of our services, we will collect your email in case there is an issue with your payment or our delivery of services to you. We use this email to make an initial contact with you where we will collect other information necessary for completing your order. Upon completion of your order, your email will be deleted from the server hosting this website. Information that you share with us via email or contact form will be retained for the length of time necessary to fulfill your service request, but will be stored on a server not connected with this website. We prefer, and recommend that you use Keet, a p2p messaging client where the the files you choose to share with us never pass through the servers of a third party, where they can be stored and misused. Our back-end Bitcoin-related software retains information about your outputs, as does our BTCPay Server implementation, both of which are located on separate servers not hosting this website. Additionally, our Lightning Node retains information related to completed Lightning Network payments and our Liquid wallet software retains your sending/receiving address(es). However, on a regular basis, we sweep, mix, and swap outputs from our on-chain wallet into one or more operating accounts, and do not retain information from your order which may correlate your transaction history with our services. Additionally we purge data related to completed orders on our BTCPay Server on a quarterly basis. For the time being, we will retain the receive addresses within our Liquid wallet to identify holders of any tokens we may issue, but will revisit this policy as alternatives arise which may eliminate the need for such data retention. If you have specific questions regarding our privacy policy generally or your personal information specifically, you are welcome to contact us out of band for more information.
